In 1998, TLC’s partners came together with a vision: to provide a full service rental company in Atlanta, Georgia that would strive to not only meet the customer's needs, but also form relationships through their business. Reuben Ayoub, owner and operator of TLC Rents: Event and Tent Rental purchased TLC Rents of Norcross, Georgia with two partners 12 years ago. Within the first year under this partnership, business doubled. A former banker, Ayoub maintains this vision and now has an impressive business reputation to prove it. Since 2006, with the acquisition of the Atlanta branch of HSS Rent X, TLC Rents is centrally located in midtown Atlanta and boasts a 27,000 square feet warehouse with a 2,000 square foot showroom—one of the nicest in Atlanta.
Known as one of the top rental companies in Atlanta, TLC Rents is heavily involved in several industry organizations: The Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, The National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), The International Special Events Society (ISES), and The Georgia Production Partnership (GPP).
TLC Rents has a unique offering of inventory including chairs, tables, linens, tents, china and more. Ayoub said if a product is not available for a client, TLC will seek it out. “We want to take care of the customer relationships we have [because] that is our key to success,” Ayoub said.
Growing up, Ayoub’s family operated rental stores and while working as a delivery driver in high school, Ayoub learned the basics of quality customer service and flexibility. Today, he operates TLC Rents with those same principles and a staff of over 20 years combined experience.
The customer types for the business are relatively balanced. According to Ayoub, it's 25% weddings, 25% private functions, 25% public events or festivals and 25% corporate events. Most business for TLC Rents comes from event planners looking for quality inventory for an event.

Bryon Brown, Sales Representative
TLC Rents’ Sales Representative Bryon Brown has been working for the event rental company for the past 2 years, but actually a total of 14 years of experience in the event industry. Bryon began at TLC in operations but this past June, he began working in sales.
His day to day schedule is always changing but most of the time, Bryon takes incoming calls, new orders and maintains relationships with TLC’s loyal clients such as Hilton Hotels, Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Georgia Tech.
Bryon, originally from Tennessee, attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Bryon studied hotel and restaurant management but finished with a degree in vocal performance.
His time learning about the hotel and restaurant industry paid off when he began working for different companies and learning all sides of the business. He soon found his way to TLC Rents in Atlanta and sees himself staying in the industry for a long time.
When asked what sets TLC apart from other event rental companies, Bryon said that TLC provides for events of all sizes and their retail storefront makes them visually accessible to passersby. Whether you need a table for a party or several tents for a large production, Bryon said that TLC can deliver.
Mike Walsh, Sales Representative
With eight years in the event industry under his belt, Mike Walsh landed in the right place when he started at TLC Rents as a Sales Representative six weeks ago.
Mike, an Atlanta native and University of Georgia alum, studied speech communications while in school. With his degree as well as entertainment industry experience, Mike found his fit with the event industry and says he has the skills to expertly focus on the customer’s perspective.
Mike also loves to travel and try new foods. Outside of work, he enjoys practicing mixed martial arts, including jiu-jitsu and muay thai.
Mike said coming to work at TLC was a “natural progression” since he is familiar with event execution as well as the details involved in an event coming together.
Mike said he is excited to build relationships with TLC’s clients. One piece of advice he has for those considering calling TLC for their next event is to plan ahead. It takes time for all of the details to come together so when you begin formulating ideas for your next event, make sure you don’t wait to call TLC Rents in Atlanta!
Rick Rivera, Seasonal Sales Representative
Rick is a highly effective leader with over 18 years and more of success in quality account management.
Originally from Bronx, Rick has been working with TLC since August as a season salesperson but has been acquainted with TLC owner, Reuben, for over 10 years through a variety of projects to improve the business and upon request.
Rick has various process engineering certifications such as a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt (Greenville Technical College, The George Group, Bank of America and Avaya, Inc.) as well as a certification as a Workforce (Resource) Management and Planning Professional.
In his current position, he serves as TLC’s seasonal salesperson and provides clients with daily sales & account management support and provides continuous process improvement support, as needed to reduce waste and improve efficiencies.
Rick said TLC is different from other rental companies because of their interest to stay very connected in the event industry, to connect with their customers and to continuously improve their business.

This company regularly attends industry networking events and hosts meetings for these groups. They have been in business a long time and have a convenient, easy to find location. The owner keeps his stock on the cutting edge as per the latest trends and each time I have dealt with them, the service has been excellent and the rentals have been spotless. They are a good company that makes a lot of effort to satisfy both the professional catering and event planning companies and general public.
